  1. I just love this station, as you said I thought I’d never hear these songs played on the radio again I went on a search and found you. I do have some old cassettes with these songs on them, that I taped back in the olden days from the radio stations that’s no longer on. This is the best Christian music I think, as well as some of the best Christmas music. They were very well written and well sung.

  2. Hello!
I absolutely love listening to “Streets of Gold”! One time you asked for show suggestions – I wondered about CCM Artists who moved into the ministry and became pastors or worked in other ministries outside the music industry. I think of Ken Gullikson, Malcom Wild, Alwyn Wall, Oden Fong, Andre Crouch, Steve Camp …. I am sure there are many more…

    Just a thought. 🙂

    Thank you. Rosi Truex

    1. Thanks Rosi for your show suggestions. It’s a great theme, but it would require lots of work trying to find out which ones became pastors and/or lead worship. I attend Bayside in Sacramento and Lincoln Brewster leads worship and also has had radio hits. I’ll see what I can do.

  3. My wife heard the program on WCRH< Williamsport MD, Sat 3/14. She heard a song about 40 men – something about them being on ice and suffering for their faith. I have searched and cannot find what she's talking about. Can you save the day??

  4. how can i go about getting music from artist Larry Norman he has always been one of my favorites but it was back in the cassette tape days and I need a more updated format like cd. thanks for any help you can give. God’s blessing to you and your ministries.

  5. Broke my heart when KTLW of Lancaster Cal said they were dropping your program. Their station has apparently been sold to AIR One. I live in Phoenix Az area, loved to listen to SOG every weekend on 90.7. The signal came in clear most of the time.
Nothing last forever, but I really miss your music.
I wish one of three Az stations would carry SOG. Keep up the good work. God Bless! Marcus

    1. Thanks Marcus for your nice comments. KTLW didn’t drop the program; they sold the station to Air 1 (EMF). It’s like changing a format. The only way you can hear SOG is online at our website. Is Air 1 on 90.7 in Phoenix? They announced that only a few of their translators including their flagship station KTLW in Lancaster would switch to Air 1 and the Phoenix frequency wasn’t mention.

  6. I have listened to Street Of Gold for over 10 years on WBFJ in Winston-Salem, NC.
I recently heard a program that you played called “90 songs from the 90’S.
I would like for you to do a program “80 songs of 80’S.
    Thanks.
Keep up with the good work.

  7. I live in Yreka, CA and listen to SOG online on classicchristian247.com. I love what you guys are playing and very much look forward to it every week. I thoroughly enjoyed the program of hits from 1977 to 2002 aired on April 7. Thank you and please keep it up. I love it!

  8. Love the program. Listen to you on KYTY AM, Star810AM, in San Antonio. Heard Seawind’s Angel of Mercy. Thanks, I have 2 Seawind albums. Angel of Mercy is on one of them. For request in June, would you all be able to play “Lord You’ve Been So Good To Me” by Gary Paxton, please? I think that album also has “When The Meat Wagon Comes For You,” a funny novelty piece full of truth. Keep up the great work. Blessings from San Antonio, Texas.

  9. I’ve been trying to find a song for years and years from when I was a kid. It’s a song about a missionary and his family about to be gunned down for preaching the word. When the men pull the trigger, the family is spirited away. The chorus is Joshua 25:15, “As for me and my house we’re gonna serve the Lord.” If anyone knows what song that is please please let me know @ dakanakawahine@yahoo.com

  10. Very valuable information, it is not at all sites that

    King regards,

  11. This morning, you asked for album requests. I’d like to hear Russ Taff Medals, and his album that includes Table In The Wilderness.

Hear ’em without shuffling the CDs, I still have both!

    Thank you!

  12. Hi Larry, I used to listen to Crosstracks. Over Christmas I was wondering if anyone streamed classic CCM. I did a search and landed on the site that played the ad for “Streets of Gold” and I listened last Sunday. I’m glad someone is carrying the CCM torch and I’m glad it’s you. I have met you a few times a wile ago, our paths crossed, and even talked with you a few times. Whether you remember, God bless you and family, and happy new year.

  13. Thank you for all your work in putting this show together – I am on staff at KLFC Radio, and Streets of Gold is my favorite of all the programs we play! I especially appreciate the variety of themes for each week, and that there aren’t any advertisements. Hope SOG will be around for a long time!
